I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Our beloved Shih Tzu, Ren, recently underwent emergency surgery on his large intestine after a mass was discovered through ultrasound. On 7/16/2025, we received the devastating news: the pathology confirmed it was an aggressive form of lymphoma. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement.

Ren is just 8 years old and has been a cherished part of our family since day one—loved deeply and treated like royalty every step of the way. His diagnosis came out of nowhere, and we’re doing everything we can to fight for him.

Right now, Ren is recovering from surgery performed on 7/9/2025, and we’re preparing to begin chemotherapy. The cost of surgery, hospitalization, and follow-up appointments has already totaled nearly $10,000—and chemotherapy will only add to the financial strain.

We believe there’s no price too high when it comes to giving Ren a fighting chance and making the most of whatever time he has left.
