Help Ren Rebuild Safety and Stability
Hi, my name is Ren. I’m a 24-year-old trans/non-binary man doing my best to rebuild after leaving a difficult living situation earlier this year. Right now, I’m staying with extended family — and while I’m deeply thankful to have a place to stay, it’s not a long-term or emotionally sustainable option.
I’m doing everything I can to contribute, show respect, and stay afloat. But navigating this kind of temporary support often means balancing complex expectations, keeping the peace, and setting boundaries where I can — all while trying to heal, grow, and move forward.
Returning to my previous home is not possible due to ongoing instability and safety concerns, and most of my close friends are also in tough spots themselves, without housing or financial flexibility.
The good news? I had a promising interview at a local daycare — something that feels like a beautiful step in the right direction. I’m also continuing to apply for other roles every day to make sure I find something steady and sustainable.

What Your Support Will Help With:
- Basic needs — like food, transportation, and a few pieces of clothing for interviews and everyday life
- Emergency savings for housing — including a deposit, rent, and eventual moving expenses
- Medical essentials, including medication and access to medical cannabis for chronic conditions
This fundraiser is helping me build a bridge from survival to stability — one step at a time. Every donation, every share, and every kind word brings me closer to a safer, more peaceful future where I can truly thrive.
Thank you so much for being here. Your support means the world.
With care and gratitude,
Ren
Update as of 8/12/25:
My situation is more dire now than ever. My cousins, instead of trying to understand me and my situation, decided to kick me out and I am now in a safe, undisclosed location. I have everything I need but I can only be here for 30 days unless I get a job, which is what I'm working on currently.
Update as of 8/15/25
I'm still in a safe place and I have been offered a place to stay in Florida and in Abbeville, SC. I have received a very generous donation of 300 dollars which will help me get the things I need to survive and possibly to get me somewhere else. Thank you all for your generous efforts. Everything you do helps more than you realize.
Mini update for 8/15:
I just got offered another job interview, cross your fingers for me!
