Hello!

My name is Remy and I’m a trans man!

I have top surgery scheduled for September (but I’m on the waitlist so fingers crossed!), and unfortunately my insurance will not cover anything related to gender services or sex reassignment.

Due to the size of my household income, I do qualify for financial assistance through the UW Health system, which I feel incredibly grateful for. However, they only cover 80% of the costs so my out of pocket will be about $6,000 if I elect NOT to keep my nipples. Keeping my nipples will cost an additional $6,000 for a whopping total of $12,000.

Every little bit helps and is so appreciated! Anything over the goal amount will go towards various supplies such as pillows and silicone scar sheets, as well as making sure my family and myself are fed for the first few weeks while I am recovering and unable to work or cook.
