On Thursday, February 19, 2026, our neighbor's 100ft pine tree unexpectedly fell across the street and crashed into our vehicles, completely crushing them. This has left us in a very difficult situation, as we are now required to remove the tree before our insurance company can even access and remove the cars. Unfortunately, this was not our tree, nor was it our fault, but we are being held responsible for the removal costs. We have not heard anything from our neighbor, and we are at a standstill, unable to move forward or replace our vehicles, which we rely on every day for work.

The estimates we have received for tree removal are overwhelming and far beyond what we can afford. As hard working school employees, this is not an expense we can take on, especially when it was so unexpected. We have always tried to manage on our own and have never asked for help before, but right now, we are in desperate need.
