Help Remington's Family Stay by His Side

Update: he's spiked another fever, still has 3 lukemia cells in his spine, probably needs a transfusion but can't wait to go home n see his kitty cats. He is strong as hell. I'm not #fuckcancer
#fucklukemia been in the hospital for the last week. Keep Remington in your prayers please.
Update we are finally out of the hospital but now is the most crucial 3 weeks before we get to go home. He's lost about 6 lbs from being in the hospital so we are trying to bulk him up again. His first clinical is next week, then once to twice a week for the next 9 months. It's a long drive from Kingman to Phoenix and we are so grateful for everyone's help thus far. From the bottom of a stressed out dad's heart, thank you, everyone so much for your continued support and love and prayers. It means so much. Beyond what I can express through text. Thank you.

My name is Winona. Tonight, we found out that our 4-year-old son, Remington, will need to be life flighted to Vegas and need a blood transfusion. At this point, we don't have any answers. All we know is he is in critical condition and we have no idea why this is happening. Anything that you can donate will help.
The money will be used to stay in Phoenix near our child as we found out he will now be going there. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Also, we would ask that you share this even if you can't donate. Thank you.
UPDATE 7/21/2024
We arrived at phoenix children's hospital early this morning. After meeting with the doctors and reviewing his lab work all signs are pointing to him having cancer, lukemia most likely. He will be scheduled for a blood transfusion and a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow. And they will most likely be installing a chest port for his chemotherapy. I will keep everyone updated when I have more information and a definite diagnosis. We are looking at a most likely a 1 to 2 week stay in hospital. Any donations will go towards expenses incurred from us missing work to stay by him and accommodations while we are here. To everyone who has donated Thank you so much. Words can not express how much this means to our family.
We have been placed in a room with the oncology team. He gets to eat some food and then he starts his blood transfusion.

First blood transfusion. We spoke with the oncologist this afternoon. They need more genetic testing to verify what type of lukemia he has. He started his first blood transfusion though and is handling it like a champ.
Update 7/22

His 02 dropped while he was sleeping so he had to go on oxygen this morning. They took an xray of his chest because he has received so much fluid in the last 24 hours it can cause excess fluid to build up in the lungs. He has needed 2 blood transfusions and 1 bag of platelets with another bag to come sometimes this morning. His surgery is scheduled for noon. Last night we did receive good news. This is the normal childhood form of lukemia which makes his survival rate so much better. It's going to be a long road to effectively get rid of the lukemia so it doesn't come back.

Remington is entering surgery for his port placement, lumbar puncture, and bone marrow biopsy. He is such a strong boy.
UPDATE 7/23/2024
During the lumbar puncture they found lukemia in his spinal fluid. It wasn't a lot but it was still enough that he will require him to stay on chemo longer. He starts his first round of chemo today.
