Hi, I’m Remiel Cooper and I’m running this GoFundMe to support the starting funds of getting my first service dog. My service dog will be a multipurpose service dog, supporting me with my TBI, physical disabilities, and psychiatric disabilities. This dog is supported by both my physical and mental health medical teams. Some things I am hoping my dog will eventually be able to help me with are calming my panic attacks and flashbacks, bringing me my medications, and alerting me to rises in my heartrate. My dog will help build confidence and independence in me that my disabilities have unfortunately taken away. While I will be able to support the everyday and long term costs of owning a dog, the beginning costs of getting a service dog can be quite expensive and I am hoping to get some help covering those costs.
