Hi, I’m Remie (Ry)
I’m creating this fundraiser because I’ve reached a point where I need help covering some urgent, basic needs while I work toward stability again.
I haven’t been able to work since mid-October due to multiple spinal issues and carpal tunnel syndrome. I had to leave a physically demanding job because the pain became constant and unmanageable, and since then, I’ve been navigating a combination of health challenges, interrupted medical care, and financial strain.
I had to move from GA to FL suddenly and could only bring a checked bag's worth of my things with me.
I’ve been hunting for a job for hours a day; however, the job market is abysmal.
Right now, I need support to cover:
- A doctor’s visit and labs so I can safely continue hormone care
- Antidepressants and other essential medications
- Basic clothing and necessities
- Travel costs to get to Georgia to retrieve my belongings
This is not easy for me to ask for. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, and sharing this publicly comes with a lot of vulnerability. But I’m at a point where community support would make a real, immediate difference in my health and ability to move forward.
