Help Remi Walk Again — Support His Recovery After Emergency Back Surgery

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends and their sweet boy Remi. Earlier this week, Remi suddenly lost the ability to use his back legs. After rushing him to the hospital, the vets discovered he needed emergency back surgery involving vertebrae and cartilage removal. It was a terrifying moment for his family, but the surgery was his only chance.

Remi has now been in the hospital for almost a week, fighting through pain and exhaustion. He is currently deep pain negative, meaning he still cannot feel or move his back legs. His medical team has started intensive rehabilitation to give him the best possible chance at recovery.

Through all of this, Remi’s spirit hasn’t dimmed. He’s trusting, he’s trying, and he’s fighting — and his family is right there fighting with him.

But the truth is, the cost of surgery, hospitalization, imaging, medications, and ongoing rehab is overwhelming. His family is doing everything they can, but they can’t carry this alone.
