Hello, I am the mother of the child, Remas Al-Attar. We are made up of a beautiful family consisting of 8 members, me, my husband, and my children (Baker, Malak, Obaida, Maryam, Walid, and Remas).
Remas is 13 years old. She is a heart patient who suffers from a weak heartbeat. She underwent surgery outside Gaza to install a device that regulates the heart rhythm. Remas was 5 years old when she had the operation, and she now needs to replace the device’s battery. She suffers from severe pain in the area of the operation. I urgently need to travel to replace the battery. Our house in northern Gaza was bombed while we were inside it on 10/17/2023. I, my husband, my children, and Remas were injured that day. I came out from under the rubble. Some of my children recovered, but as for me, my cruciate ligament and the internal and external meniscus were severed. I need surgery as soon as possible, and I cannot walk on my feet because of this injury. Remus also entered a stage of constant fear and fatigue. Remus has a beautiful smile.
