I hesitate to give too many details to protect the privacy of those involved, but my partner and I were living with some family members (and I arrived here assured by them that it would fine for two months) who have now informed us we must leave immediately.
The reasons involve primarily homophobia and an unwillingness to allow us to be together in the same household, as well as other family dynamics and members who, though gracious in their support, are themselves targets of abuse and attacks that have forced them to occupy the room we were staying in.
I'm asking here for CAD $1200, which I think will cover half of two months rent, while my partner and I try to make up the other half (from work primarily). Any support in this time would be greatly appreciated.
