We are in the process of leaving Kenya and starting over in Spain after escaping an abusive situation. This move is about safety, healing, and rebuilding our lives with the support of kind friends who have offered us a place to stay.

There is just one heartbreaking obstacle: our family cat, Samba Beans.

Simba Beans is not “just a pet.” He is gentle, loving, and has been a constant source of comfort during an incredibly difficult chapter of our lives. He is family. The thought of leaving him behind is devastating and adds another layer of pain to an already overwhelming transition.

Unfortunately, the cost of safely relocating a cat internationally from Kenya to Spain is far beyond what we can afford right now. Between veterinary checks, vaccinations, travel documentation, airline fees, and approved transport, the expenses add up quickly. He already has his microchip and vaccines, it is just the cost of flying him over.

We are asking for help so that we don’t have to choose between our safety and our beloved companion.
