Hello my name is Denise. As the proud owner of Essential Smoothies, Kankakee County's only vegan whole-fruit smoothie café, I am reaching out to our incredible community for support. For years, our mission has been to provide healthy, delicious options that promote wellness, and I’m proud to say we’ve helped so many people in our community embrace better food choices.

Now, I need your help to continue that mission. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must relocate from our current space in Northfield Square Mall. While this transition is challenging, I’m thrilled to announce that Essential Smoothies will remain right here in Kankakee! With all the exciting growth happening in our area, this move represents a fresh start and the opportunity to secure a permanent home for our café. Details about the new location will be revealed soon, but I promise it will be worth the wait!

As a woman, minority business owner, and first-generation entrepreneur, I’ve poured my heart into Essential Smoothies to make it a space that uplifts and nourishes our community. Relocating during the winter months is no small feat, but with your support, I know we can make this happen.
