UNITED FOR EAST PALESTINE EVACUATION FUND

Donation protected
Ever since the first week of February 2023, the people who live near East Palestine have been living next to an unnatural disaster, caused by the most catastrophic release of toxic chemicals in American history.

The United States government has been doing everything it can to suppress and minimize the story.

Five cars full of petrochemicals were lit on fire by the railroad company, along with several other cars full of things like wheat and frozen fruit.

TWO MILLION POUNDS OF HIGHLY TOXIC ASH WAS RELEASED DIRECTLY INTO THE AIR.

People's houses, cars, roads, yards, and fields were coated in a thick, chemical, muck, that has since largely gone back into their soil.

The most dangerous of these chemicals, called hydro-carbons, are highly stable, and are some of the most dangerous chemicals, to human beings, that have ever been studied.

The EPA is refusing to test for dioxins because they know they will find them.

United for East Palestine Team has been collecting data from an informal survey, of the seventy-seven residents in the nearby area who submitted, forty-one lived within five miles of the burn.

SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT OF RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN FIVE MILES OF THE SITE REPORT PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH CHEMICAL POISONING.

"Yes, I have had what feels like every symptom under the sun; burning eyes, constant headaches, exhausted, light headed and have had difficulty breathing. I am a cross-country runner and extremely healthy. I have not been sick in years. I have been sick since the incident."

These stories persist.

Our informal survey has confirmed that people as far as 50 miles from the site have experienced symptoms of exposure to these chemicals.

There seems to be a concerted effort to minimize this story and gaslight the people living in the area into accepting a narrative that the government, and the railroad company, are doing anything to help them.

Every single person who has contacted us with reports of sores and breakouts from the incident has told us that the hospitals are refusing to diagnose them with chemical exposure.

This is how they plan on making this story disappear.

The problem is that this is not just a "story"...

THESE CHEMICALS ARE IMPACTING LIVING HUMAN BEINGS.

The government is so busy attempting to minimize the severity of this catastrophe that it is making no attempt to get people evacuated.

They are purposefully feeding the false narrative that the danger is mostly over because the first exposure chemical, vinyl chloride, breaks down in sunlight.

THEY ARE REFUSING TO TALK ABOUT DIOXIN.

People need to be given the option to leave.

Everyone within at least ten miles should still be evacuated.

The railroad company should be forced to pay for everyone's relocation and for all damages they have incurred.

The federal government is doing everything it can to minimize this story...

Any class-action lawsuit litigation takes years.

People need to be evacuated right now.

These are people with homes and lives that have suddenly been impacted through no fault of their own.

It is going to be a while before the government takes any sort of ownership of what is happening.

PEOPLE ARE BEING POISONED IN THE MEANTIME.

All donations to this GoFundMe page will be used by the United for East Palestine Team for the specific purpose of paying for the necessary expenses of relocation for those who wish to evacuate.

THIS CAN INCLUDE, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

  • First-and-last month's rent to move into a new house/apartment
