As many of you have heard, Phillip was in a serious accident on Friday, April 15th, 2022. He was the victim of a high-speed head-on collision while heading home. Phillip is currently in ICU, being kept sedated and on a ventilator while his body heals. He has undergone one surgery at this point to repair a pelvic fracture and has an external fixator. He will have at least one more surgery to finish the pelvic repair and fix the femur fracture. He has some broken ribs, fracture L4, and a host of other injuries to recover from. They are keeping him as comfortable as possible. He is currently stable and briefly "woke up" yesterday and was able to follow commands and move fingers, toes, legs, and arms. This was the best news yet! He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him once the surgeries have taken place and they can wake him up and remove the vent.
Ronnie has stood at his side every moment possible with some amazing people offering him support. Both Phillip and Ronnie's employers have also been excellent during this scary time.
However, Phillip is looking at a very long road of recovery and rehabilitation. He will be out of work for a while, and Ronnie needs time to be there during surgeries and when Phillip officially wakes up. We don't want money and bills to be an added stress. His sister Sarah and I aren't able to be there at this moment to help, so we figured this is one way we could help and show our support from a distance. Please help and donate anything you can. If you can't help with donations, they would love all the prayers they can get!
