Hi all, my name is Talia and I’m making this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friends, Jen and Sul. Many of you who know them heard the news that our fur buddy, Marley, suddenly passed away from aspiration pneumonia on July 14 at the tender age of 19 months old. In his short life, Marley was an active therapy dog in the Greater Philadelphia Area, volunteering for the YMCA every week, the Pennsylvania Hospital every other weekend, the Please Touch Museum once a month, and the Upper Darby Library once a month. He has also participated in stand alone DeStress events to help boost employee morale at various companies. Outside of volunteering, Marley enjoyed doing agility, swimming, going on hikes, and learning new things.

In addition to this heartbreak, Marley’s family is managing $12,902.80 of veterinary bills. This is the out of pocket expense they will have to pay after contributions from pet insurance, despite Marley being enrolled in a very good insurance plan. Given everything Marley has done for the community, let’s come together to give back to his family by relieving them of some of these medical expenses.
