This man you see is my father. He has lived a long, difficult life battling heart issues since 2007. In 2007, when I was 6 years old, he had a pacemaker and defibrillator installed in his chest. With that, we were told he'd have 4 years left. He surpassed that, but other issues have arisen, gone, and come back around again: a stroke in 2015, various heart complications throughout the years.

Around two weeks ago, my father went into the hospital as he was having difficulty breathing and could only walk about 5 paces before having to sit down again. The hospital operated, and this resulted in 4 bypasses to clear blockages, which was moderately successful. They had to leave his chest open after surgery and run several types of life-sustaining equipment, as well as various drugs to sedate him and give him the best chance to heal. His hands and feet have turned black and blue, and he has gone into organ failure as of 6 August 2025.

In a couple days' time, my sister and I will be pulling him off of life support as the doctors say there is nothing left to do.

I just wanted to be able to relieve some of the financial burden from my sister and me as our father was disabled and didn't have plans set for his death. Thank you all.
