2020 has been an unfavorable year. My sister Missy was diagnosed with stage 4 metaplastic breast cancer on October 15th. This type of cancer accounts for less than 1% of breast cancers. It has taken a lot to get to this diagnosis, and is only the beginning of a long journey, starting with aggressive chemo for 6 months.
For those that don't know my sister, she is everything I wish I could be in a person! She would give you the shirt off her back. She is passionate about animals and volunteers the majority of her time with Hugabull Advocacy to educate and break down the stereotypes surrounding bully breeds.
I know this year has been hard for almost everyone, but I am hoping that any funds raised can help to take away one more stresser for her.
We are a province apart but I know she will have a community behind her in both Alberta and BC to kick cancers butt!
