My mother, Mrs. Kuntala Ghosh, is currently hospitalized at ILS Hospital in Kolkata, India. She was born in December 1956 and has been living with type 2 diabetes since 2007. Over the past week, she began experiencing severe back pain and her movement became completely restricted, which led to an urgent hospitalization. The doctors determined that her condition was caused by old age and her diabetes, and she needed joint repair surgery on her backbone. The surgery was performed on Monday, and thankfully, she is now recovering well.
However, the hospital is refusing to release her until the remaining bill is paid. I have already paid most of the bill, but there is still a portion left to cover. I am an only child and have been supporting my mother alone since losing my father in 2002. I live in the United States and will be withdrawing the funds here to transfer them to my mother's account in India, so the hospital bills can be paid and she can return home.
I urgently need help to pay the rest of the hospital bill so my mother can be released and continue her recovery at home. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading and for your kindness.
