Lyssie Lou’s Cookie Co. was born from something simple: a desire to help people create meaningful memories — one truly great sugar cookie at a time. From the beginning, we’ve committed to using only fully organic ingredients, with no shortcuts, no artificial flavors — just nostalgic, soft, and buttery treats you can feel good about eating.
But our mission has always been about more than just cookies. We want every bite to feel like a warm memory: cozy, joyful, and deeply personal. The kind of sugar cookie that doesn’t just taste amazing (though it absolutely does) — it reminds you that you’re home, you’re celebrated, you’re connected.
I started baking these cookies with my mom. After she passed, those memories in the kitchen became one of the greatest gifts she left me. That’s the heart behind Lyssie Lou’s — to help others create their own lasting moments, just like I did.
And the family traditions continue with our newest addition -- a 1980 Grumman Olsen Kurbmaster -- soon to be our food truck! Formerly a Mac Tools truck turned camper van by my Grandpa, Lloyd (the truck's namesake), the truck will now be our physical location which will be set up at Favorite Neighbor Wine + Tapas Bar each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We plan to launch in October and we’d love your help bringing it to life.
Our Goal
We’re looking for 500 donors to each contribute $100 to help fund our comeback.
Where Your Donation Goes
Your support helps us accomplish the following repairs and projects using local small business owners:
- Seal our vent fans (provider TBD)
- Seal our front window (provider TBD)
- A deep clean by Simple Spaces.
- Remove and replace carpet (provider TBD)
- Remove and replace our window curtains that will be made by Sewn by Elisabeth.
- Paint the exterior to match our branding, done by Whitaker Signs.
- Engine checks and repairs by Justin Smith Mechanics.
- Food truck photography by Alice Loayza Photography.
