"Hello, my name is Rejoice Maphosa. I'm a 39-year-old mother of three beautiful children, ages 9, 7, and 10 months. My life took a dramatic turn a year ago when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer while pregnant.

Despite the challenges, I remain hopeful and determined to overcome this disease. However, the cancer aggressively spread to my spinal cord, lungs, and chest bones, and I was forced to deliver my baby prematurely.

I've undergone six cycles of chemotherapy, which have shown significant improvement. Nevertheless, I still face numerous challenges, including backaches, difficulties walking, and painful injections to strengthen my bones.

Next, I'm scheduled to undergo radiotherapy for a whole month, which is crucial for my recovery. As a mother, my greatest desire is to see my children grow up and live a healthy life. Unfortunately, my condition has left me unable to work, and I'm struggling to raise funds for my treatment.
