Help Rein Recover After Emergency Surgery

Donation protected
On March 21, 2026, my horse Rein began showing signs of colic. We rushed to our local veterinary hospital, but her pain quickly became unbearable. The vets recommended immediate transfer to LSU ICU, where they discovered a blockage in her small intestine. At 2:30 am, Rein was taken into emergency surgery. By 6 am, the surgeons had to remove three feet of her small intestines to save her life. The experience has been overwhelming, and I am still unsure if Rein will pull through, but I am holding onto hope while preparing for any outcome. Rein is not just a horse—she is a huge part of my life and my heart. I have already spent so much trying to save her, and she is now in recovery, resting after her surgery. Every moment with her is precious, and I am doing everything I can to give her the best chance at healing. The funds raised will go directly toward Rein’s surgery, her ongoing care, and making sure she is as comfortable as possible during her recovery. Your support means the world to me and Rein. Thank you for being able to make a difference in my horse’s life. Your kindness and generosity will help us through this difficult time, and I am deeply grateful for any help you can give.
