Hey everyone, exciting news! Reilly is finally on the homestretch of finalizing her green card and moving here to California with Max and I to start a new life.
Unfortunately, some very unexpected and costly expenses have revealed themselves. We had anticipated that Reilly would be able to complete the necessary medical exams and interviews in the province of Alberta where she currently lives. Unfortunately, we have discovered that she has to travel to Vancouver British Columbia for her medical exam, and then across the country to Montreal, Quebec for her final Visa interview.
In addition to being very emotionally taxing, this is financially impossible for us. I don’t like asking for help, but this whole Green card process has been a long road and we are in the final stretch. If you are able, and if you feel led, would you please consider generously contributing to help get Reilly “over the finish line.“
Everyone who contributes will be invited to a “Welcome Home Reilly” barbecue when she finally arrives.
The funds raised will go towards:
Medical expenses, filing fees, and significant travel expenses. If any funds are left over, they will go toward a moving van for her maiden voyage to the US as a permanent resident.✨
