Help Rei Reunite with Beloved Dogs and Restart Life

Hi there gang, my name is Rei.

I’m a neurodivergent ace nonbinary poet from WV, formerly having spent the last seven years in KY, until circumstances beyond my control forced me to move back to my home state without forewarning. After some weeks of couch surfing and battling an ongoing bout of illness that wouldn’t let up, I finally spent a long weekend hospitalized to discover that I had a severe C.diff bacterial gut infection that I am now thankfully being treated for.

However, I’m still trying to find a new home base where I can be reunited with my beloved dogs Bastian and Pippin, and restart my online business where I sell vintage and antique jewelry and other unique items as my full time occupation when I’m not writing poetry or fiction about my home region or true love.

It is hard for a born and raised Appalachian such as myself to reach out and ask for help. With that being said, it is going to take more than just me to get back out of this hole, and so I have started this campaign even though I have hesitated to do so. I am hoping to save up enough money to find a place to rent where I can keep both of my dogs and still have access to the hospital here in Princeton and the doctors I will need to treat and keep tabs on my seizure condition and my hypothyroidism, the former of which makes it difficult for me to drive, or has in the past.
