Support Wildlife Rescues

Donation protected
At this time of giving, your dollars still do a lot to help wildlife survive. Many need rescuing from being hit by cars, often unseen until it's too late. A list of Massachusetts rehabbers can be found on the Mass.gov site. Please consider helping your furry friends. Every dollar donated helps to keep an animal alive and keeps out eco system healthy.

You may or may not know that Massachusetts wildlife is struggling to survive. Too many raptors, i.e., hawks, eagles, owls, eat small rodents. Too many are being poisoned by eating a rodent that's been killed with rodenticide poisons. It's called secondary poisoning.

This gorgeous coyote is a stock photo but there are many wild coyotes in the area. This time of year small prey animals are looking for warm places that include basements, garages and sheds. Please don't use rodenticides. There are other ways to discourage them from nesting inside. Catch/release is one and peppermint oil is a deterrent. Outside there are other options without using poison. If you're storing birdseed outside, use a metal container.
