Regina Yazmín López Valenzuela is a sweet and joyful 5-year-old girl who was just diagnosed with one of the rarest and most aggressive cancers: melanoma in the cerebellum with leptomeningeal spread. This diagnosis is extremely rare in children and very difficult to treat. Doctors in Mexico have done everything they can, but they do not have the resources or specialized treatments needed for her condition. Our only hope is to get Regina to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where experts and clinical trials may offer her a chance to fight. We are urgently raising funds for transportation to Houston, hospital evaluations and testing, treatment and potential clinical trial enrollment. Regina’s family is doing everything possible to support her, but the costs and logistics are overwhelming. Every step is a race against time, and we need help to give Regina the best chance at survival. Regina deserves hope. She deserves time. Please help us give her the chance to receive life-saving treatment. Any donation — big or small — brings us closer to getting her the care she needs. If you cannot donate, please share her story. Sharing can save her life. From our family to yours, thank you for helping us fight for Regina.
