Help Regina Connolly Reach Her Final Resting Place

Hi…I’m Laura. I was Regina Connolly’s neighbor/friend for the last 12 years. We started out as neighbors, but over the years became friends… I even became her emergency contact in the end. And that is why I’m reaching out… Regina passed away from end stage COPD Monday morning; she was only 63. I have NEVER in my life, seen someone fight so hard to live as she did. My heart is broken, but also relieved to know that she no longer struggles to breathe!

Unfortunately, Regina did not have her end of life arrangements set up and paid for, (her monthly income was less than $1100 per month). Although I am not a family member, being her emergency contact and friend, and knowing her last wishes, I feel obligated to try my best and help see her to her final resting place. Unfortunately, the family has zero dollars to help.

I know this is odd, and that you don’t know her, but I’m just reaching out to see if you wanted to be a part of a good deed on helping this sweet, caring, and thoughtful woman get to her final resting place next to her mother, Martha…

I have TWO TAKE AWAYS from this experience…

First, please get your end of life arrangements in order and paid for… This most definitely will make it easier for the people in your life to get you to your final resting place. And secondly, take pictures…LOTS OF THEM! I can’t believe I never got a picture of Regina or the two of us…makes me sick to my stomach now.
