Help Regina Afford Critical Neck Surgery

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

My name is Christina, and I’m reaching out to share the story of a friend very close to my heart. One of my dearest friends is facing an incredibly challenging time, and I feel compelled to do everything I can to help her.

Regina is a single mother to an amazing son in 9th grade. Regina has always been a source of love and kindness to those around her. She is battling extreme pain on a daily basis due to the bone spurs in her neck that keeps getting worse. After many trips to doctors, specialists and her neurologist, nothing has helped. Her condition has now escalated to the point where she requires an extensive cervical spine surgery. This surgery is critical not only for her mobility but also for her overall quality of life. Without it, even the simple joys of walking without pain could become an impossibility.

She recently had emergency back surgery too so she has no money saved due to needing to take time off of work for that surgery. She simply can't afford to be out of work for another 3 months for neck surgery but the longer she puts it off the more chance of it also being an emergency surgery. As you can imagine, preparing for such a major surgery has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on her. With mounting post-operative care costs, and day-to-day expenses piling up, she's struggling to make ends meet. Despite these challenges, she's remained resilient and hopeful—a testament to her incredible strength and faith.

The bone spurs thru her cervical spine at c4 thru c6 are extremely bad. She's losing feeling completely in her left arm. She already has arthritis in her arm and shoulder. Plus one of her discs has a crack. The chances of her saving the money before this becomes an emergency surgery is slim to none. She needs to take atleast 3 months off work for recovery (I had this same surgery and needed 6 months off and couldn't even drive for that 6 months either). Her bills alone are $3500 a month and that's not including household necessities or pet food and groceries. She's miserable due to constant pain and exhausted physically and mentally trying to figure out how to get through each day in this pain and now trying to figure out how to have a surgery that she can't afford to have.

This is where I’m humbly asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference. Whether it helps cover a portion of her medical expenses, supports her recovery, or even eases her financial burden just a little, your generosity will have a lasting impact on this family.

If you’ve ever experienced the pain of watching someone you love face health challenges, you know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel. But together, we can help lighten their load and remind them they’re not alone.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions about this GoFundMe campaign. And if you’re unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this story with your friends and family can help tremendously in spreading the word.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world. Let’s come together to make a difference for this amazing woman and her son in their time of need.

With gratitude,
Christina ❤️
