Help Reggie Keep Her Home

As many of you already know, my father, Spence, passed away a few weeks ago. Since then, things have been rough to say the least. He and my mom were married for 43 years and it has been more than difficult transitioning to a life without him. Over the last few years my Mom and Dad have been on a single income, and since his passing that income has stopped, as has my mom's health insurance which she relies on for life saving medication day in and day out. 

She has the paperwork to reinstate my dad's support through various channels, but it could take months for it to properly go through and because of Covid that process could take even longer. Due to her other health issues, even without the pandemic, Reggie is unable to work so garnering her own income isn't an option. Because of this, the house payment and other bills have gone unpaid and will likely go to default. Us kids are doing what we can financially to keep her afloat, but there's only so much that even we can do. After helping to cover the costs of Dad's passing, and whatever else we can support, it is becoming harder and harder to find the space in our own finances to sustain for the next few months.

We as a family aren't asking for an endless amount of financial support, just enough to get her through this extremely difficult time until she is able to get the paperwork passed through. Once that happens, things will be okay again. 

I understand that times are tough and the income is a touchy subject for a lot of people, but even a donation of $5 makes all the difference in the world.
