Help Reggie heal after a devastating injury at daycare

Hi, my name is Dawn, and I’m reaching out to help my friend and her sweet puppy, Reggie. He recently suffered a heartbreaking injury while under the care of a local pet daycare. She trusted them to keep him safe while she was at work—but instead, she got a call that Reggie’s leg was broken in two places.

The vet confirmed the severity of the injuries, and the surgery, pain management, and aftercare costs are mounting quickly. Despite the fact that this happened under their supervision, the daycare is staying that their “insurance” is refusing to take liability or responsibility or help with any of the bills.

Anyone with dogs will understand Reggie is more than just a pet and it is breaking her heart to see him in pain, unable to run, play, or even walk without help.

As a final blow my friend unexpectedly lost her job and the total costs are more than she can manage on her own, and truly needs help to get Reggie the care he urgently needs. She is very proud and embarrassed to ask for help so I'd like to try and help her.
