A week before her birthday, our dearest Anita Laureano passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep. We find comfort in knowing she went peacefully and is now with Jesus.

Anita had a heart of pure gold! She was loving, caring, thoughtful, and truly one of a kind. Family meant the world to Anita and if you met her, in her eyes, you were like family too! Reggie and Theresa, were her pride and joy! Anita’s faith was strong, she read her Bible every single day and loved sharing messages about Jesus’s love with her children and their friends!! Today, she rests in HIS arms no pain, no worries, only peace and love.

Anita was full of life and personality! She loved wearing bright, fashion-forward clothes and her texts were always filled with colorful emojis! She cherished watching church on TV (with the volume all the way up!) while cooking for her family! She loved swimming, feeding the birds, watching the sunrise.. anything that nature had to offer she enjoyed.

Now, the best way we can show Anita the love she showed others is by honoring her through support for Theresa and Reggie through this difficult time. Your help will go toward:

• The cremation process

• Transporting Anita’s ashes from Austin to Champaign

• Memorial service expenses

• Time off work to make arrangements

• Sorting and moving personal belongings

• Providing a small cushion so they can grieve without added financial worry
