Help Regan's kids
Donation protected
We all know that Regan became a statistic when she passed away from Ovarian Cancer. Throughout her fight with this disease, she continued to advocate for herself and encouraged other women to do the same. In fact, her strength allowed her to use her own personal fight as a means of educating others. When she was fighting for her life, she used that as a platform to answer questions from other women. She was frank and honest and quite honestly? Selfless. Because the courage it takes to share such a profoundly personal journey with scores of people online and answer questions is the truest definition of selfless behavior that I know of.
So many of us were lucky enough to know Regan! She was always full of life-quick with a joke and always there for her friends. Regan was passionate about education. She knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was 10 years old. She took that role very seriously. Her belief was that every child deserved a fighting chance. Regan gave her all in the classroom, and it is evident that she was an incredible teacher based on how many students became her friends.
But perhaps her greatest role in life was that of wife and mother. As much as she loved her students, she loved her family that much more. Regan was so proud of her 2 sons and her daughter and provided them the opportunity to live their own lives. She supported them wholeheartedly in their interests and endeavors. She and her husband provided a stable, loving, and supportive environment for their kids to explore, learn, and grow.
Regan embodied living life to the fullest and loving without reserve. We are all fortunate to have experienced that from her in our too-short time with her. I think she would want us to continue to live our lives that way.
This fund is set up so that anyone who is so moved to donate, can do so. This fund will be turned over in its entirety to her husband so that he can use it for the kids as they move forward with their lives. They have so many milestones that Regan won't be here with them for - 8th-grade graduation, high school graduations, college, etc... The hope of this fund is that we can help honor Regan just a little bit by helping her children to have the means to continue exploring whatever opportunities may come their way over the years.
And if you aren't able to contribute, please be your own best health advocate; Regan would love that too.
Thank you
