Help Regan receive vital cancer care in Germany
Donation protected
I'm Tarin, the son of Regan, and I've come to this platform to ask for everyone's kindness in helping my dad overcome cancer.
Over the past year following a chain of health issues, Regan was diagnosed with colon cancer after going through exhausting surgery to remove a tumour within his intestines, and despite a long and initially successful chemotherapy treatment- He received the news that the cancer had returned only a few weeks after his treatment was slated to end, and that it had spread to his lymph nodes. The prognosis he received was that, at worst, he has approximately 10 to 12 months left to live, so long that he remains on his current health plan.
As it currently stands, we lack the funds with which to seek private medical care within the UK, so through the extensive and kind efforts of his partner, his family, and his friends, we intend to help Regan receive specialised care within Germany- Once located in the country, Regan will be able to receive treatment that is 30% more effective than conventional chemotherapy cocktails currently available to him in his current financial position. All of the raised funds will go directly into the medical and logistical costs of getting Regan into specialised care, as before he can even be flown out to Germany, he'll need to undergo physical therapy in speciality clinics within the UK in order to build up the strength needed to fly out.
Regan- My dad- Is a kind, funny, observant, and staggeringly intelligent soul. His absence would leave a void in many people's lives, mine overwhelmingly so. He has travelled the world and has always practised the mantra of trying to make life better for everyone he meets, by making them laugh, pointing out something fascinating in the world around them that seemingly only he was able to spot, or simply making sure that whatever room he leaves is a little bit tidier than how he entered it. Everyone that has met him has been enriched in some way, and not once has he ever asked for anything in return- Other than schlocky horror movie recommendations. The lessons he has taught me all revolve around the simple act of being kind, and they will forever stick with me.
There are a thousand things I love about him, and everything he says carries with it a wit that I have never once seen matched.
I, as well as all of his loved ones, only wish for that boundless intelligence be allowed to stay with us, just for a little longer.
Thus, I kindly ask for your donation to make this possible. Any amount is greatly obliged- And I would not demand that you do so. Simply sharing Regan's story with friends and family would be a kindness we'd be forever indebted to.
Thank you very kindly for your time. Any and all updates will be diligently recorded by myself.
