In 2023, we asked a cab driver how far we could get with $10,000. We expected an adventure, but what we found was so much more.

His name is Reg. He’s one of the most charismatic, kind-hearted humans we’ve ever met.

Over the past two years, Reg has become a true friend. And during that time, he shared something deeply personal: twenty years ago, he took out a £70,000 loan. He has already repaid £90,000, but due to predatory interest, he still owes £113,000. It’s been a weight on every part of his life.

We know you all have connected with Reg in the same way we have. It’s easy to tell that he’s an incredible human, and right now - he could use some help to get out of this situation.
