Hi, I’m William Guy, the owner of Throwing Sideways. I started this yoyo company to have fun, create yoyos that I genuinely love to throw, and most importantly, to keep the retail costs down for the community. This has been possible by keeping our release prices low and instead supplementing our income with Day (Night) jobs. Our upcoming release, The Parthenon, was going to be a Bimetal organic made out of 7068 aluminum and stainless steel rims on the inside of the cup. This yoyo was a Bimetal upgraded version of our 6061 monometal release, The Sistine. Unfortunately, our machine shop shipped the production run to us and the package was stolen directly after it was delivered. We are absolutely devastated and it feels like a real kick in the ass for me, for us, and for the company. It’s looking like we aren’t going to get any help from the shipping company or our machine shop so we have lost all of the yoyos as well as the sum of money we put into the production of it. We love this yoyo and want to share it with the community, but are only left with a few prototypes. I don’t want to give up on the release of The Parthenon, so I am asking for any help to try to refund and renew the production. As an incentive to help, we’re offering a couple of things!

• Donating $50 will get you a preorder slot for a Sistine! We’re doing a small run of Sistines to give to people that help us along the way! These will be coming in 2 colorways. I will contact you when I receive them to figure out which one you’d like! This cost includes it shipped to your door within the US!

• Donating $90 will get you a preorder slot for a Parthenon! There will be 3 colorway options and when they come, I will contact you about which you would like! This cost includes it shipped to your door within the US!

• Donating $125 will get you a preorder slot for The Parthenon AND aThe Sistine! Again, we confirm colorways with you when we receive them. This cost includes it shipped to your door within the US!

We are aiming to have both the Parthenon and the Sistine released in Early November. Please note that if a donation is made anonymously, we will not be able to reach out. So please put your name and thank you so much for reading!
