Please Help Support Refugee & Immigrant Families Affected by ICE Enforcement in Minnesota

Over the past two months, federal immigration enforcement operations have surged all across Minnesota. For many families, this has created fear, instability, and urgent financial hardship. Families who were already surviving paycheck to paycheck are afraid to leave their homes and are facing the real possibility of eviction.

Who We Are and Our Goal

We are a small group of community organizers, trusted cultural workers, and neighbors who deeply care and love our most vulnerable community members. We created this fund to provide direct, immediate financial support to families who are most at risk right now. Many of the families rely on caregivers and providers, who have not been able to work because it has become unsafe for them to leave their homes for fear of being detained.

We are currently fundraising for thirteen families, and the list continues to grow as word spreads- this fund will continue to be a safe space to ask for for families who in the last few months have had to feel responsible to put themselves at risk for the life they have created here.

The Process and How Your Donation Helps

Our team includes trusted community organizers who are well-connected within the refugee and immigrant communities. What started as food support has turned into a safe space for people to reach out to during a time of crisis. They receive requests directly from families, assess urgent needs, and coordinate financial support.

We maintain secure records to ensure accountability, including tracking requests and confirming payments are sent. Depending on the situation, support may be delivered through secure transfers (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App), checks, or cash to the families.

Privacy & Safety

For the sake of privacy and safety, these families must remain anonymous.

We strive to protect people's privacy to allow them to stay safe in their homes so proof will not be shared with donors unless requested directly.
