I’m reaching out because my sweet baby dog Reese was hit by a car tonight. Reese is only one year old, and he’s the heart of our family. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his pure joy and gentle demeanor. Reese is lighthearted and his kind nature brings happiness to everyone around him.

Tonight, everything changed in an instant when I watched him get hit by and SUV. Reese now faces major surgery to repair a fracture, or possibly even an amputation. The bills are already piling up, and he hasn’t even seen the surgeon yet. I can’t imagine putting him to sleep—he’s so young and means everything to us. The uncertainty and the mounting costs are overwhelming, but I know I have to do everything I can for him.

Funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward whatever treatment the surgeon recommends, whether that’s a complex fracture repair with months of crate rest or an amputation if that’s the only option.
