Help Reese Colburn Get a Second Chance at Life

Hello, My name is Reese Colburn.

It’s that TIME for me to go to Stanford Children’s Hospital to be evaluated for a dual transplant for HEART/LIVER.

Most of you have followed my story since my birth. I was born with a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Over the years my heart has slowly became weaker and it’s not able to pump enough oxygenated blood to my other other organs. I now have developed cirrhosis of the liver. I was denied to be on the heart / liver transplant list at Vanderbilt Hospital because at that time they said I was too weak and would NOT SURVIVE the transplant. And now Vanderbilt is not even doing Dual Heart/Liver transplants. But by the grace of God I am stronger today!

So STANDFORD Childten’s Hospital is giving me the opportunity to be evaluated!
