Help Reem Afford Temporary Shelter

Hello, I am Reem, 24 years old, from Gaza, Palestine. I just graduated a month before the war started.

My family consists of 5 members. My sister Maha's family consists of 5 members who live with us in the same place. We decided to rent an apartment in my place of residence because our destroyed house in Rafah city is unapproachable and the entire city has been demolished.

We do not have any financial income to pay the high rent in light of the lack of residential apartments, and if we do find an apartment or a building, it will be at least burned or partially damaged.

Because we are on the threshold of the month of Ramadan and my parents are elderly and cannot bear fasting and sleeping in tents in these circumstances,

I have decided to help them collect your donations and find suitable shelter with the lowest costs and possibilities to ensure and achieve our most basic rights to live. Every donation you make will support me, my parents, and our honorable family.

We have been displaced and exhausted for over a year, and now it seems like it will never end for us as Gaza has been completely destroyed, including our home and any shelter or comforts we have ever known. There are no words that can express what we are going through and what we have been through. I just thank God that my family is safe.

Thanks to your support, we are able to afford some basic necessities and rent a simple place at minimal cost so we can rest a little and start rebuilding our lives. Your kindness and generosity will not go unnoticed as we embark on this journey together, hand in hand, towards a future of peace and prosperity.
