Reed Bell was at work on Tuesday when he passed out several times. He was taken to Greenville hospital where he was coded several times. He was transferred to Baptist South and taken to the cath lab only to find no apparent cause. He continued having episodes where is heart stopped and would have to be shocked. He was transferred to UAB where specialists have been doing their best to help him. He has had an ablation but has been sedated to allow his heart to rest in the ICU. His wife Katie and his mother are taking turns staying with him. Reed and Katie have a small daughter in Greenville staying with family. This will be an extensive time of healing for him. Katie will need to travel between Greenville and Birmingham, there will be many expenses including, food, lodging, gas and medical bills. This is to help offset some of the cost.
