Hi everyone, my name is Rée Celine.
Many of you know me as an R&B singer who pours her heart into her music, or from the covers I share of your favourite R&B songs. Recently, my life took an unexpected and difficult turn — I was diagnosed with a tumour in my jaw called odontogenic myxoma.
To treat it, I have to undergo major reconstructive surgery, where bone from my fibula will be reshaped to create a new jaw. They will also remove teeth and lymph tissue to reduce the risk of the tumour returning. As you can imagine, this has deeply affected my health, my voice, and my ability to work.
This entire experience has been overwhelming and traumatic — emotionally, physically, and creatively. My recovery will take time, and I will need specialised therapy and vocal rehabilitation to rebuild the strength and control of my voice so that I can sing again. Singing is not just what I do — it’s my passion, my purpose, and my connection to all of you.
I’ve worked so hard on my first project, and it’s now on pause until I’m healthy enough to release it the way it deserves.
Although my surgery is covered by the NHS, the financial challenges of recovery are still very real. Because I’m unable to work while healing, I’m asking for support to help with:
• Recovery costs, including vocal therapy, speech therapy, and vocal coaching
• Promotion and creative content for my upcoming music project
(The music is finished — I just need help bringing the full Rée Celine experience to life, and hopefully creating a live arrangement or intimate virtual concert once I’m healed)
• Living support while recovering from surgery and unable to work
Your support will not only help me heal and rebuild my voice, but will also help me return to what I love most: sharing music, creating moments, and connecting with people through sound and emotion.
Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page means the world.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for standing with me during this difficult time.
With love,
Rée Celine
