My relationship with my ex ended when he asked the rudest coworker I had, that he knew I hated, to talk to me about a financial matter that’s deeply sensitive to me and makes me feel like a failure to my parents.
In that moment, all the love we had over 10 years disappeared instantly. But I still tried to make things work, making food for him on the days that he worked, paying the electric bill, car insurance, and just keeping to separate rooms until I could move out.
I had plans to move out, but I needed to use the car to get to work- the car that was in his name, and he has the legal right to take. Now, I have no way of getting to work outside of Ubers or coworkers giving me rides. However, my focus is not on getting a new car- it’s on moving to a cheaper place that is within walking distance of my current job, the one I’ll be staying at for the rest of my life.
My expenses for this are:
-All the rent I need to pay now by July 3rd (890$ a month).
-The Early Lease Termination Fee of 2 months rent ($1780)
-Removal of a bad mark of 317$ on my Credit Score to get approved for the new apartment without a Co-Signer (my current credit score is 520, and this is the only bad mark I have).
-Administrative Fee of 400$ for new place
-Pet fee of 300$ for new place
-First Month’s Rent For New Place ($685)
-U-Haul, Uber rides to current job- Estimated 150$.
This comes out to $4,372.
I have rounded up the goal to be 6,000 to cover any extra expenses. Anything you can give helps.
