Hello! This is obviously one story of many, and really unexpected. As many of you know, Redding was hit with flash floods, and unfortunately, my mom and sister, who are housed together, were hit by these floods. The entire apartment and garage were two feet underwater within MINUTES, and they were only left with some photo albums and the animals. Everything else is lost to the elements. The entire apartment complex is going to have to be re-built due to the unsanitary waters that seeped into everything. Not many people in Redding expect flooding; as you can imagine, I’m not sure there is flood insurance.

Our Christmas wish is a backup plan for my hard-working mom and sister, then being able to buy food and replace any necessities ASAP. My mom has been fighting a divorce battle for over a year and has not seen one penny that she is owed, and this is the last thing that she has needed on her plate.
