Help Red rebuild after Hurricane Ian
Donation protected
Arlene “RED” Moran-Crandall (pictured on the right) has lived in Kelly Greens Country Club since it was built in June 1991 – over 31 years. She was one of the first residents at “Kelly,” as she lovingly calls her home.
Red was living in Michigan when she and her husband bought their condo, and for the first few years, they primarily used this as a second home. Kelly became her primary home in the mid 90’s, and as an avid golfer, she truly was living in paradise. Red was originally a realtor in Michigan, and in moving to Florida, got into the mortgage business. She is known throughout Lee County as a caring individual. She has provided home mortgages for hundreds and hundreds of homeowners. Red was also very instrumental in starting the first FAMP golf tournament to raise funds for Homeless Veterans. She has been on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Chapter of FAMP for 10 years.
Red’s home in Kelly Greens was destroyed in Hurricane Ian. She and her husband “Ram” and their kitty “Annie” stayed in her first-floor unit as the rising waters increased during the day. That day was incredibly traumatic, but they all survived! They were fortunate enough to escape and go to a 3rd floor unit in Kelly Greens until her brother discovered they were still alive. They remained in the 3rd flood condo without power; until Monday, October 3rd. Her automobile was destroyed in the flood, and nearly all of her personal belongings were as well. Fortunately, her dearest brother knew of a friend that has a seasonal condo in Fort Myers and she, Ram, and Annie are now safe there with power!
Red needs assistance in funds to begin to put her and their life back together. Donations are needed to do this. Any amount is welcomed and SO much appreciated! Please consider helping Red and her family.
