I have never asked for any help like this in my life. I’ve made many mistakes but none like this. I was just trying to have some fun and ride my dirt bike, I went past my skill level and wrecked my bike causing a l1 spinal vertebrae fracture

im going to sell the bike to get ahead

and just try to get my life back to neutral.

this injury could take up to a year to heal. (hopefully fully walking with no pain in 2 months) 6 months is when the bones start to heal- with the recommended guide saying 12 months is when you start to have major bone recovery. I will still be going to work somewhere appropriate that my body can handle as soon as I have basic functions.
