hello everyone, on friday night, I was in a serious car accident that totaled my vehicle. I walked away with bruising and my life and I’m grateful for that. still, the aftermath has been a lot to deal with. I made the mistake of going to work exhausted, knowing I’d be working late into the night. on the drive home in the pouring rain, i did not see the black car in front of me, it all happened so fast and i hit them and then hydroplaned. it has been a tough wake-up call about listening to my body, something I didn’t do, and now I’m being forced to slow down and recovery. while i take time to rest and regroup, I’m left without a car, without much income, and with bills I’m not sure i’m going to be able to keep up with. i am asking for help to cover basic expenses like rent, food, and anything related to recovery while I figure out what’s next in getting a car. every little bit helps, and even just sharing this makes a difference.
