In 2013, my father stabbed me in the head. I was in a coma for four days after brain surgery. Miraculously, I survived, but the attack left me with a severe brain injury. My right side was paralyzed, and it took years of therapy to regain the ability to walk, talk, think, and remember.

To add to my trauma, I was also struck in the face with a brick, severely damaging my two front teeth. One has since fallen out, and I desperately need dental implants. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover this procedure.
