Christine Welch has been rescuing animals for nearly 20yrs. On 3/28/21 she was doing an emergency foster intake for a good dog that was scheduled to be euthanized. The dog got spooked and ran while she was holding the leash. She was pulled and came to a crashing stop. Christine has multiple fractures in her wrist, dislocated bones in her hand, a dislocated jaw and other minor injuries. She requires reconstructive surgery & physical therapy.
