Help Reclaim a Vehicle for a Fresh Start

Hello everyone,

It is official, I have hit rock bottom. After losing my ORISE fellowship due to systemic racism, being evicted, securing another fellowship but Trump messed that up, then not being able to find a job so I started delivering packages for Amazon using my personal vehicle. Well today as I was walking out to my car I noticed it was gone. Yes it was officially repossessed. I kept in constant contact with my credit union and when I would deliver for Amazon I would transfer the money to my car loan. I was only 2 payments behind when they came to pick up my vehicle. I spoke with them to let them know another month's payment will be paid this week so I assumed they would work with me since I am actively trying to catch up but I guess not. I used my car to make some money but now without transportation I am at a loss. I live outside of Atlanta so I really need a vehicle. For the past 6 months I've applied for over 250 jobs. Navy Federal is not budging when it comes to my car. They want $1087.78 (past due) plus $470 (repossession fee). I did speak to multiple supervisors and listed all of the payments I made recently to get caught up, they basically said thank you but now we need this much is you want your car back. I live in McDonough, Georgia so we don’t have any public transportation. I’ve been applying for jobs but I really need my vehicle to get to them. Some of you suggested crowd funding so I’m putting it out there. I’ve raised $110 so far and I’m hoping to raise the rest before Tuesday so I can pick the vehicle up instead of dropping off my keys and gathering my possessions. Anything will be a blessing.
