Help recently widowed aunt with financial burden

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am helping my aunt, Pam (Sue) Welsh with unexpected medical bills and upcoming future bills. My aunt suddenly lost her beloved husband, Donald Welsh on Tuesday, August 16th after months of medical issues. My uncle Don was a very loving man, who had been in and out of the hospital with what originally was back issues, and ended with two different types of cancer that he was unable to get treatment for, and ultimately had hospice move in to their home for his final days. During those months going in and out of the hospital, they have racked up a lot of medical bills that have not yet come due, also, with the loss of her husband and main income source, there is an issue with upcoming monthly bills, rent, groceries, car payment, funeral expenses, etc. As his passing was very unexpected, she did not have a safety net to fall back on. His pension has been suspended, leaving my aunt with little to no money for 4-6 months until they determine if she’s eligibility for any of his pension as he was not eligible for social security being a federal worker for the United Stated Postal Service. My aunt was the primary caregiver for her husband, and with his loss, she is now going to have to go back to work at 71 years old. She is a very proud woman who would never personally ask for any type of donation, but she desperately needs the financial help. Any help that you could give would be very much appreciated.
