Help Rebuild Vivaio Plants After Flood

My name is Olivia and I recently took the leap of a lifetime to open Vivaio Plants. I spent countless hours—and savings—building a space that I hoped would serve our community and share my passion for plants. This past weekend, those dreams were met with the unforgiving reality of the King Tides with a severity we never anticipated. I watched helplessly as several feet of water filled up my studio, that I worked so hard to create, with the plants I nurtured and merchandise I thoughtfully curated be flooded by the saltwater. Despite my best efforts to save what I could, the damage is heartbreaking. The water has receded, but it left behind more than just a mess. The building itself has sustained serious structural damage. We are currently facing compromised walls, potential mold, and electrical concerns. As a brand-new small business, I don't have the deep pockets or the extensive insurance coverage needed to bounce back from a situation like this.

Right now, I don't know when we will be able to operate as a fully functioning business again. I am turning to my friends, family, and community to ask for a hand. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this page means the world to me. I poured everything I had into these four walls, and I’m not ready to give up on this dream yet.
